Yukon Public Law Library

The Yukon Public Law Library is open to all members of the public. The library is located in the Law Courts building on Second Avenue in Whitehorse.

Collection:

  • Yukon Law Reports and Canadian case reporters;
  • Texts on all aspects of law including criminal, family, aboriginal and administrative;
  • Historic and current Canadian legislation in print;
  • Criminal Codes, Rules of Court and Practice Directives.

Books may be borrowed for 48 hours
(or longer at the discretion of the librarian).

Computers:
We have two public computers that can be used free of charge during library hours for legal research and writing. Librarians offer tutorials on doing legal research on the Internet.
