    How can I apply for a pardon?

    The National Parole Board issues pardons of convictions. You can apply for a pardon by completing a Pardon Application Guide and returning it to the National Parole Board. Contact Adult Probation Services for a Pardon Application Guide:

    How can I swear an Information?

    • Whitehorse Court Services in Whitehorse has set times and dates for swearing Informations before a Justice of the Peace. You should come to the Court Registry in Whitehorse on:
  • Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday at 12:00 noon
  • Friday at 11:00 a.m.

    • If you are not able to have your Information sworn at these times and the matter is urgent, come to the registry and ask if a Justice of the Peace can be made available to swear your Information.

    • Other Communities Contact your local Justice of the Peace to ask about swearing an Information. If you do not know the name of your Justice of the Peace, contact your community RCMP detachment, or phone the Territorial Court Judges' Chambers at 667-5438, or toll-free at (800) 661-0408, extension 5438.
