Family Violence Prevention Act Information [56.78 KB ]
Family violence is any action, or threat of action, that causes bodily harm or damage to property. It also includes sexual abuse, forced confinement and depriving a person of food, clothing, medical attention, shelter and other necessities of life.
Offender Programs
The Victim Services / Family Violence Unit offers treatment programs to help manage an offender's risk. Included are the Spousal Abuse Program and the Sexual Offender Risk Management Program.
