I am not the cause of my abuser's violent behaviour.
I have the right to feel safe.
I have the right to not be hit.
I do not like or want to be abused. I do not have to take it.
I have the right to say 'no'.
I have the right to be treated with respect.
I am an important human being.
I am a worthwhile woman.
I have the right to raise my children in safety.
I do have power over my own life.
I can use my power to take good care of myself.
I can decide for myself what is best for me.
I have the right to be believed and valued.
I can make changes in my life if I want to.
I have the right to live in peace.
I am not alone. I can ask others for help.
I have the right to end the violence.
