Community Advisory Board

  • The Community Advisory Board is an independent body that reviews and makes recommendations on the administration of the Corrections Act, Regulations and programs.
  • The Board is made up of seven members, two of which are First Nations.
  • Board members are appointed for three year terms and meet quarterly.
  • Board members should have a strong interest in corrections and community programming for offenders.
  • Board members receive per diems and remuneration for travel.
