  • Yukon Public Law Library
    Open to all members of the public, the library is located in the Law Courts building in Whitehorse. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.
  • Aboriginal Court Workers
    Aboriginal Court Workers support fair, equitable, and culturally sensitive treatment of Aboriginal people in contact with the Criminal Justice system. If you are an Aboriginal person involved in the justice system Aboriginal Court Workers can provide you with support and information.

    This website provides free public access to current Yukon legislation, Acts and Regulations.
  • Legal Aid
    Yukon Legal Services Society (YLSS) is Yukon's legal aid service provider. If you need a lawyer but cannot afford to pay, they may be able to provide a lawyer at no cost or low cost.
  • Yukon Public Legal Education Association (Law Line)
    YPLEA provides legal information to the public and promotes increased access to the legal system. The Law Line is intended to help callers by providing legal information. Call (867) 668-5297 or toll free at (866) 667-4305.
  • Law Society Of Yukon
    The Society is the governing body for Yukon lawyers, under the authority of the Legal Profession Act. The primary duty of our Society is to serve and protect the public interest in the administration of justice and the preservation of individual rights, while respecting the law and the independence of lawyers' relationships with their clients.
